Dedication

Carolyne Gould
This genealogy blog is dedicated to the memory of my mother, Carolyne (Kephart) Gould, a devoted mom and grandmama, an artist, a talented journalist and former newspaper editor, and a passionate genealogist. She inspired me in so many ways in life, and continues to do so after her passing. It is my honor and heartfelt duty to continue the legacy of her genealogical research, and to keep the memory of her and our ancestors forever alive in spirit. With her passing, the ancestry torch was passed to me, and I will continue exploring and maintaining the family history she so faithfully documented for over 20 years for our family before she left this earth.

To see the fruits of her labor, please check out the website she created, which I maintain in her memory:

You can also find the genealogy data on our family through her RootsWeb site:

I will end this dedication with a quote that Mom had on her Facebook profile page. NAIH, Mom.

"To be ignorant of what occurred before you were born is to remain perpetually a child. For what is the worth of a human life unless it is woven into the life of our ancestors by the records of history?
~Marcus Tullius Cicero, 106-43 B.C."
